God is good...all the time! Kathy, could I please have the words to "I Am". I will be singing it at church next Sunday. I first heard that song sung by Ruby Horton who was visiting my hometown, Merritt Island, Florida. I bought her tape in 2000, lost it and rediscovered it here in Illinois about 2 weeks ago. Isn't that crazy? Keep up the good work and we'll keep praising God. Thanks.

Kathy, I just love the way you sing "I Give You Jesus" This song has been in my songbook for years. I have the soundtrack for this on casset. I have never heard you sing this song, I don't know who is the original writer. I was just lookin' for the chords over the words since I don't read music well enough to play it. I play by ear. The Lord has blessed with the ear for music. But sometimes I'd like to know if I'm doin'it right!Send me what you can if so. God bless your ministry and keep up the good work for God. Hi Kathy! Finally got a chance to catch your webpage. Looks beautiful! You (or someone)has done a good job of sharing your musical walk! Billie and Donna are as down to earth as earth angels! Hey, call me when you get a minute. I can't make ld right now. An angel paid my electric and my sister paid the water. I have never had that happen before. I am working off the water pymt but, the electric company said my benefactor/tress wanted to keep it secret. I cried tears of joy. My youngest son put his arms around me and said, "Mom, that's the God you taught me to believe in. The person who does things without self-glory to themself." It was great. Hey Kathy, I doubt you will remember me but we went to high school together. I was one of the kids that never seems to fit in anywhere. Anyway, I accepted christ in 1987 a year after my mother passed away. Saw your website in the Cahokia High website. I always felt there was something special about you. May you continue to touch as many lives as possible. I have been a diabetic now since 8/16/93. God has has kept me in fairly good health all this time. Diabetes is what killed my mother so I am always keenly aware of what it can do. Best wishes.

Hi Kathy, Sure was good to get to meet you and seeing you in person as I had been listening to you on KSLG here in St.Louis and enjoy listening as God is Great giving you such a beautiful voice as he has. I'm sure gald your useing it for him and giving it away for him. I have listen to your CD today and do enjoy having it here and will be able to listening to it anytime that I wish to. I did buy "I Give You Jesus" and all of the song on that CD is great. I have also love going threw your website and enjoy it alot.You truly have alot on here. It's awesome! Thanks for sharing so much of your life with us and letting us know about your life. God is awesome. I did truly enjoy being at the Strawberry Festival Sat. I have missed a few of them and when I heard that you was coming I knew that I was going back this year. I had worked in the boosts for several years at one time. This is truly a good thing that the Baptist Children Home does every year on the First Sat. of June. I guess my first year working in the Festival was in 1977. Worked at it for several years that the Lord allow me to do it. I will always remember where and how I met you Kathy and someday I will get one of your scarfs. "That is if the Lord wants me to have one." Kathy, you sure are the work of the Lords with your voice that you have. You keep singing for the Lord and you will get your dreams. "To sing with the Gaithers some day" You know that could come true if the Lord wants you there with them. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful website and I will visit it from time to time. Dear Kathy, Greetings from the Southwest! I came accross your web page, and I think it is awesome that you have said "Yes!" to the call to minister to God's people. This is why I am writing for adivice if at all possible. My family and I have, after several years of service, agreed to listen to the nudging of the Spirit to serve in ministry. Church has always been part of our story, and it has been the driving force behind our lives. We are ordinary people. No riches,no outstanding connections,nothing that would make one think of greatness. We are however in love with Jesus:) It is this love that drives us to be all that we can in the given life. It is this love that has forced us to evaluate our lives and be faced with the choice to serve--without hesitation. My question then is how did you start? What advice would you give to a family going into ministry? What are the essentials to keeping the focus on Jesus? If you have any time at all to respond, I would greatly appreciate it.
