KATHY ATKINS

God is my "First Love", and my family is my "Next Love". Family is "Life's Treasures". As you scroll through this page, you will get to know some of my family members.
Kathy & Jonathan
Jonathan is Kathy's only son, now 24 years old. Jonathan loves the Lord and supports "mom" in her music ministry and sometimes comes out to hear her sing and share her "first love", Jesus. |

OPAL DOLLINS, KATHY'S GRANDMA
Grandma went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2006. She was 87 years old and loved God with all of her heart. She was one of Kathy's biggest fans and called her often to see what God was up to. Her going-home service was truly a celebration to us all as 37 of her grandchildren sang "Go Rest High On That Mountain". It was an experience I will always treasure and never forget. I love you grandma with all my heart and miss you already. |
|
Kathy's Grandma, Elsie Vanna Marshall
Elsie C. Marshall went to be with the Lord on January 29, 1998. She was a great influence spiritually on Kathy as she was growing up. Kathy & Grandma would spend lots of hours talking about Jesus and longing to be in Heaven together. Grandma's favorite song was "The Old Rugged Cross". Everytime Grandma would have a yard sale, Kathy had to bring her Karaoke and her and Grandma would sing. Thank you Grandma for your guidance and direction in my life. |
